Pratibha Kurnool thrives in creating people-centered cultures and communities of purpose. She is the head of social impact for Cognizant APAC and also leads two global programs – one focussed on large scale community impact and the other to enable collaborations on social impact goals with strategic tech partners including Microsoft, AWS and Salesforce.
In all her roles, Pratibha drives inclusion in tech and community impact by enabling positive social outcomes in STEM education, digital skilling, digital empowerment of the social sector, climate awareness and action. She influences internal and external stakeholders to lean into the social purpose strategy to drive business and reputational outcomes.

She is known for her collaborative mindset, fostering shared purpose and creating trusting networks. Under her leadership, Cognizant has received multiple awards and recognitions for social impact – notably the 2023 President’s Volunteerism and Philanthropy Award – Organisations of Good (Large Enterprise), three-time Champions of Good, Digital for Life Champions Award 2024 and 2022 and Microsoft APAC Partner of the Year for Social Impact. She was awarded “Star Smart Nation Ambassador 2022” for her impact in enabling digital adoption and inclusion by the Smart Nation and Digital Government office and received her award from Minister of Information and Communication Josephine Teo.
