Saravenan, is the Director of Engagement in the Ministry of Education (MOE), overseeing a team that helps the Ministry build trust and support with its stakeholders by engaging parents, members of public and internal stakeholders on education issues. He recently led the engagement efforts for MOE\u2019s ForwardSG movement and also leads the recently set-up, Partnerships Engagement Office, a central coordinating platform to connect schools with industry and community partners.<\/p>\n

He has also taken on roles in public communications, organizational development and stakeholder engagement in MOE with a stint in MCCY during SG50 to support ground-up efforts to celebrate SG50. With a range of experience across the national conversations and engagements such as Our Singapore Conversations, Emerging Stronger Conversations and ForwardSG engagements, he believes in engaging and working closely with stakeholders to take a more collaborative approach in tackling challenges and taking collective responsibility.<\/p>\n

He is also the recipient of National Day Awards – Commendation Medal (Covid-19), 2022 and the Public Administration Medal (Bronze), 2010 and also represented Singapore at the 65th United Nations General Assembly in New York in 2010.<\/p>\n
