Creating meaningful community impact is not as easy as it seems.
With diverse community groups making up our social fabric, community engagement practitioners are finding it increasingly difficult to address their unique needs. Practitioners assert that collaborating with right community partners is key to further their reach to the target communities, but not all partners are aligned in the vision. Resistance, red tapes and encouraging participation from the communities – these are just some of the challenges faced by community engagement practitioners.
