As Deputy Head of HCSA Highpoint, Andrew Ong leads the operations and programmes of a residential halfway house under HCSA Community Services, dedicated to supporting ex-offenders in their reintegration journey. In this role, he oversees rehabilitation efforts, community engagement, and holistic care to ensure residents are equipped for lasting transformation.
With a strong background in partnerships and strategic communications, Andrew brings experience in stakeholder management and building collaborative frameworks that unite government agencies, corporates, and the community to tackle complex social issues. His approach blends operational leadership with systems-level thinking, ensuring that reintegration is supported both at the individual and community level.
Andrew’s passion for social impact extends beyond his professional role. As co-founder of Break the Cycle, a ground-up initiative that empowers ex-offenders through cycling, he continues to champion second chances and inclusive communities. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to breaking cycles of recidivism and stigma, while inspiring resilience and hope.
